Anita Raj, PhD, MS

Anita Raj is the Executive Director of the Newcomb Institute and the Nancy Reeves Dreux Endowed Chair in the School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine at Tulane University. She is a research scientist trained in developmental psychology and public health with a multi-disciplinary research focus on gender equity in global health and development.

Tulane School of Architecture Diploma Ceremony and Reception

The Tulane School of Architecture Diploma Ceremony and Reception is open to all graduating Tulane students receiving a degree from or with a major in the School of Architecture and their families and friends. This is not a ticketed event. Doors will open at 9:15am for seating. The ceremony will start at 10am in Dixon Hall with a reception following at around 11:30am in NQ1.

Tammy Thaggert, M.D. (NC ’91)

Dr. Tammy Thaggert has been practicing family medicine since 2000. Throughout her career, she has focused on preventative medicine and treatment of chronic diseases such as diabetes and hypertension in adult patients. Her professional interests also include public health and population medicine. Dr. Thaggert attended Newcomb College and Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology, and she earned a medical degree from Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA.
