Shala Carlson (NC '93)

Shala Carlson is Habitat for Humanity International’s senior director of storytelling and brand. She shapes Habitat’s global messaging, brand and creative guidelines, and her teams have the extraordinary privilege of portraying Habitat’s work in 1,100+ communities across the United States and more than 70 countries around the world. In 2015-2016, she co-led the organization’s most extensive brand work in its 45+ years; in 2023-2024, she has undertaken a refresh of Habitat’s messaging, based on extensive global polling and research.

Alandas Dobbins (NC '89)

Alandas Dobbins is the CEO and founder of Oteka Technologies, a prominent Memphis based infrastructure, smart city, technology solutions company. With a background in communications and a passion for innovation, Dobbins has been a driving force behind Oteka's rise as a leader in the tech industry. Her leadership style, characterized by a commitment to diversity and empowerment, has fostered a company culture that values collaboration and creativity.

Kelsey R. Casano (SLA ‘15, M*23)

Kelsey graduated with a B.A. in Art History from Tulane University in 2015.  She subsequently recieved her Doctorate in Medicine ('20) and Master of Public Health (21') from Lousiana State University Health Sciences Center. She currently works as a radiology resident physician at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.  

In her free time, she enjoys gardening, cooking, spending time with her two cats, Winston and Penguin, costume construction, and trying new restaurants in New Orleans. 

Lauren Gaines (LA '20, SoPA '23)

Lauren Gaines is a two-time Tulane University graduate, having earned a Bachelor of Arts in Communication in 2020 and a Master of Public Administration in 2023. She currently serves as Senior Digital Content Specialist for Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand at Ochsner Health. Previously, Lauren served as Communications Director for the ACLU of Louisiana and as Media and Communications Specialist for Newcomb Institute. She also served on the board of the Tulane Club of New Orleans, creating community programming for Newcomb and Tulane alumni in the Greater New Orleans area.
