Rachael Kuntz (NC ’98)
Biography
Rachael Kennedy Kuntz graduated from Newcomb College in 1998 with double majors in Math and Cellular and Molecular Biology, and was awarded the Class of 1909 Prize for the Outstanding Senior. After graduation, she moved to Houston to attend Pharmacy School at the University of Houston and graduated in 2002 with a Doctor of Pharmacy. She and her husband Shawn (E'98) have 3 children, the oldest of which is a member of the Tulane Class of 2026.
For the last 20 years, she and her family have enjoyed living across the US, Canada, and Europe. Now a stay-at-home mom, Rachael has focused her energies on volunteering. She has been a member of the Junior Leagues of Beaumont, TX, and Northern Virginia. Her true passion though has been in volunteering at her children's schools. She has held multiple positions in various Parent Associations and Booster Clubs where she has run after school programs, developed volunteer programs, and served on many executive boards.
Having a daughter at Tulane has brought a renewed energy to Shawn and Rachael's alumni experience and they have enjoyed spending more time on campus this year cheering on the Green Wave.
