Biography

Sharan Lieberman recently moved to Denver after living in New Orleans for more than 13 years. She was a federal prosecutor at the United States Attorney’s Office in the financial fraud section. She is currently working as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Litigation & Employment Section at the Colorado Attorney General’s Office in Denver. 

Sharon earned her J.D. from Tulane Law School (’02) and her B.A. in English from Newcomb College (’99)and was in the Honors program. In law school, she was managing editor of the Tulane Law Review, Treasurer of the Public Interest Law Foundation, and a member of the criminal defense law clinic. At Newcomb, she was also a resident advisor for Irby and Phelps, a writer for the Hullabaloo, a member of the concert and pep bands where she played the flute, and a member of the Media Board. Her proudest accomplishment at Newcombwas founding a student-run magazine focusing on women’s and gender issues at the University.

Ms. Lieberman is originally from Silver Spring, Maryland. Her 11-year-old daughter is a superstar swimmer, and her 9-year-old son is an avid flag football player. She is excited to meet other Tulane and Newcomb Alums and develop programs for the alumna community in Denver.
