Jackie Schornstein (2013)

Jackie is a fourth-generation Tulanian and graduated from Tulane University in 2013. She was in the first cohort of Newcomb Scholars where she worked with Sally Kenney to research the issue of battered women incarcerated for killing their abusers, the clemency movement, and how the movement can be revived today for the hundreds of women still behind bars. Jackie is Associate Philanthropy Officer at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. She works on the Principal and Major Gifts team to cultivate and steward a pipeline of donors with principal and major gift capacity. Jackie enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and getting back to New Orleans whenever possible. Jackie lives in Brooklyn, New York and is originally from Dallas, Texas.
